Ranking the Green Bay Packers' last 10 first-round draft picks
4. Rashan Gary, EDGE (2019)
It was hard to organize the top four first-round picks the Packers have made over the last near-decade, and placing Rashan Gary at #4 on this list was the most difficult of all.
But when you're making subjective rankings, sometimes difficult decisions must be made.
Gary was another bet on traits by the Green Bay Packers, and he's proven to be one of the most underrated EDGE players in the league. As has been a common theme for some of these guys, Gary got off to a slow start in his pro career but has been outstanding when healthy. He has averaged 10 sacks per 17 games over the last three years, racking up 62 total QB hits and 94 QB pressures.
3. Jaire Alexander, CB (2018)
The Green Bay Packers have seen Jaire Alexander develop into one of the better all-around cornerbacks in the NFL in his time with the team so far. Although things haven't always been peachy off the field with Alexander and the Packers, this is an elite-level player at one of the game's most important positions when he's at his best.
Alexander was truly at his best in 2022 when he picked off five passes and was named to his second Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro. Playing in just seven games this past year, Alexander allowed over 60 percent of passes into his coverage to be completed for the first time since his rookie year. He can shut it down when he's on top of his game.
