1. Ahman Green

It might be slightly controversial to not have a legacy, Hall of Fame player like Jim Taylor atop this list, and numbers aren't everything but hear me out.

Ahman Green ranks 1st in Green Bay Packers history in total rushing yards with 8,322. His 80.0 rushing yards per game are the best for any running back in franchise history. His 54 rushing touchdowns rank 2nd behind only Jim Taylor.

Green ranks 5th in Packers history with 68 career touchdowns in total. He ranks 1st in franchise history with 11,048 yards from scrimmage. The former third-round pick out of Nebraska was selected to four Pro Bowls and also averaged nearly 100 yards from scrimmage in seven career playoff games for the Packers.

Green was one of the best backs in the NFL in the early 2000s and I think he's the best running back in Green Bay Packers history. His best year as a pro came in 2003 when he had 20 total touchdowns, 2,250 yards from scrimmage, and 1,883 yards rushing.

Ahman Green was a stud and as of right now, only Aaron Jones is on pace to really match him in terms of his overall rushing prowess. There are different eras of football that are nearly impossible to compare here, but Ahman Green was a superstar in an era of NFL football where running backs were king.

And here, he gets the crown for best in Packers history.
