The Green Bay Packers have their share of injury problems, but Jordan Love is nearing 100 percent.

On Thursday, he participated fully in practice for the first time since suffering a sprained MCL. It's further proof that the Packers' franchise quarterback is close to full strength. Before making his return last week against the Minnesota Vikings, Love had only managed to log limited practice sessions each day.

He was a full-go on Thursday, and the Packers got some other encouraging injury news ahead of Week 5.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander, defensive tackle Kenny Clark, and guard Elgton Jenkins returned to practice after sitting out on Wednesday. Alexander's status is significant. He missed last week's loss to Minnesota after sitting out of Friday's practice, and his return is notable.

Packers getting Jordan Love back to full practice is bad news for Rams

Love was rusty in his return last week, particularly early in the game, and he didn't look fully confident in his knee. Despite that, he still threw for 389 yards and four touchdowns, both single-game career-highs. The only concern was the three interceptions.

He threw the ball 54 times, which is never ideal. While the Packers lost the game, those extra reps may have helped Love shake off the rust. By the time Green Bay visits SoFi Stadium on Sunday, he will have had a further seven days of recovery and at least one full session on the practice field.

The Rams will miss several key players, including star wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Injuries threaten to derail the Rams' season, who desperately need a win after falling to 1-3 last week.

But they may have run into the Packers at the wrong time. Matt LaFleur's squad has shown resiliency in the past and will want to quickly bounce back from last week's disappointment.

Love found some rhythm at the backend of Week 4, and he is now closer to being fully healthy.
