Which prospects are attending the 2024 NFL Draft?
Thirteen prospects will attend the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit, Michigan, including three quarterbacks. USC's Caleb Williams, LSU's Jayden Daniels, and North Carolina's Drake Maye could be the first three picks in the draft—they will all be in attendance.
Here is the full list:
Name | Position | College |
---|---|---|
Terrion Arnold | CB | Alabama |
Jayden Daniels | QB | LSU |
Marvin Harrison Jr. | WR | Ohio State |
JC Latham | T | Alabama |
Laiatu Latu | EDGE | UCLA |
Drake Maye | QB | North Carolina |
Quinyon Mitchell | CB | Toledo |
Malik Nabers | WR | LSU |
Rome Odunze | WR | Washington |
Darius Robinson | EDGE | Missouri |
Brian Thomas Jr. | WR | LSU |
Dallas Turner | EDGE | Alabama |
Caleb Williams | QB | USC |
Will the Packers' top choice attend the draft? We can rule out Green Bay selecting any of the quarterbacks, and several names on this list, including Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, and Dallas Turner, will likely be gone.
Green Bay may need to trade up to get either of the top cornerbacks, Quinyon Mitchell or Terrion Arnold.
When will Packers pick in Round 1 of NFL Draft 2024?
The Packers enter the draft in a fantastic position. The Aaron Rodgers and Rasul Douglas trades netted them two extra top-100 picks, giving them a total of five, and they have also added three compensatory draft picks in the later rounds.
Here are the Packers' picks in each round:
Round | Pick (Overall) | From |
---|---|---|
1 | 25 | |
2 | 41 | from Jets |
2 | 58 | |
3 | 88 | from Bills |
3 | 91 | |
4 | 126 | |
5 | 168 | Compensatory |
6 | 201 | |
6 | 219 | Compensatory |
7 | 245 | |
7 | 255 | Compensatory |
Green Bay has flexibility. Want to stick at each position and make 11 picks? Perfect. But if an opportunity comes up to make a trade, the Packers have plenty of resources to work with.
Any draft-day deal won't necessarily involve moving up. GM Brian Gutekunst said he would like to get to 12-13 picks, which would require a trade-down. Either way, the Packers are in a great position entering the draft.
