While the Green Bay Packers can't quite claim that they've played every NFL season—only the Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears can do so—the Green & Gold are close. While founded in 1919, a year before what was originally called the American Professional Football Association (APFA) came to be, the Packers played a couple of years of semi-pro ball before joining the APFA in its second season in 1921.
What the Packers can claim, however, is that they're the winningest team in NFL history.
With the legendary Curly Lambeau at the helm, Green Bay won six NFL titles, including three in a row from 1929 to 1931. Under Vince Lombardi, the team tacked on another five, the last two of which allowed the Packers to represent the NFL against the AFL's best in the first two contests that we now know as the Super Bowl, games Green Bay won in convincing fashion.
Add on the win in Super Bowl 31 under Mike Holmgren and the victory in Super Bowl 45 under Mike McCarthy, and Green Bay is officially credited with 13 total championships. One could technically call it 15, but as the 1966 and 1967 titles are combined with those first two Super Bowl wins, the number stands at 13. Nevertheless, Green Bay is the only NFL club with double-digit titles, with the rival Bears sitting in second with nine. It's not called Titletown for nothing, folks.
As far as only Super Bowls are concerned, Green Bay's four wins are good for a tie for fifth, trailing only the Pittsburgh Steelers (six), New England Patriots (six), San Francisco 49ers (five), and Dallas Cowboys (five).
In terms of regular-season success, the Packers take the title there as well, boasting not only the most such wins in NFL history (819 heading into the 2026 season) but also the highest regular-season winning percentage (.572).
Obviously, such success over a century-plus doesn't come without having a long list of legendary players. And the Packers have obviously had plenty of those over the years on both sides of the football. Now, we can't say that every single player on this list will fall into that legendary category, but that's to be expected, as we are looking at every single number from 0 to 99 after all.
So, without further ado, let's get to it.
