Tucker Kraft issues clear warning to Kerby Joseph ahead of Packers vs. Lions

Truthfully, it's not like this week's Packers-Lions game needed any more juice.

All the fun narratives are already there: the NFC North is the toughest division in football, this game probably makes or breaks the Packers' division title chances, and there's no proverbial love lost between the teams (which gets said too often but is unfortunately true this one specific time), especially after the Lions came into Green Bay and gave the Packers their worst loss of the season so far.

Tucker Kraft doesn't care about that, though. Tucker Kraft knows the people want sensationalized trash talk stories for the next three days, and reader, he didn't disappoint.

While talking to reporters on Sunday afternoon, Kraft had some ... interesting? ... things to say about Lions safety Kerby Joseph. At the risk of sounding overly presumptive, we may officially have ourselves a Bulletin Board Week on our hands.

Tucker Kraft's comments on Kerby Joseph prove how intense Packers-Lions will be

"He's a respectable player in the NFC," Kraft said. "But in my mind, I'm not really worried about DBs too often. I'm worried more about guys in the box, and I'm sure they bring guys down, safety rotation. And we target them in the run. But it's just a different game. I don't have too many tidbits on Kerby. I know he's a dangerous player. He can flip games. He's a good DB. I may not agree with some of the places he likes to lay contact. He's taken some of my brothers out of the game, and I think about that too. So if I get a chance to get my hands on him, you know, playing football."

This is The Good Stuff. This is the type of quote we all deserve. Every NFC North game brings a ton of intensity, but the idea of Kraft and Joseph – two of the best players in the league at their respective positions – going up against one another for 60 minutes on Thursday night is why we all tune in to watch *Thursday Night Football.*

Also, it seems like maybe Kraft has a bit of a point? He's certainly not the first player to complain about Joseph being a dirty player.

Hopefully we hear a response from Joseph sometime before Thursday, but if not, my bet is we definitely see one that night. I don't know if you have other plans that evening, but you probably shouldn't.
