Where the Packers stand in the 2025 NFL Draft order heading into Week 12

Not having a high pick in the 2025 NFL Draft is obviously a good thing for the Packers at this point.

With a dramatic 20-19 victory over the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field this past Sunday, which set a fun new franchise record, the Green Bay Packers improved to 7-3 on the season and are in a good spot heading into another rivalry matchup in Week 12 against the struggling San Francisco 49ers.

As the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings each took victories in Week 11 as well, the Packers remain in third place in the NFC North. But with the Washington Commanders taking a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay bumped up a spot in the overall NFC playoff picture and would be the No. 6 seed in the conference if the postseason started tomorrow.

And to make matters even better, Matt LaFleur & Co. have a full two-game lead on the top three teams currently on the outside looking in as it pertains to the final wild-card slot, a group that includes San Francisco. So again, the Packers are in good shape with seven games remaining.

As such, unlike many other teams at this juncture, Green Bay doesn't need to be looking at the 2025 NFL Draft order just yet, as there is still plenty of business to handle during this 2024 season.

Nevertheless, that doesn't mean it's not entertaining to check in on where the Packers stand at the moment. So, let's take a look.

Updated 2025 NFL Draft order heading into Week 12

If the season ended tomorrow, the Packers would own the 26th overall pick in the first round of the '25 draft, one spot lower than where they selected oft-injured offensive lineman Jordan Morgan this past April.

This slot, of course, would only go to Green Bay if certain postseason scenarios played out, but based on regular-season records at this time, this is where they're at. Again, we're just having a little fun here.

If the order below holds, the No. 1 overall pick would belong to the Jacksonville Jaguars, owners of the NFL's worst record at 2-9. This would mark the third top pick for the Jags in five years.

Rounding out the top five at this point are the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and Las Vegas Raiders.
