Where the Packers stand in the 2025 NFL Draft order heading into Week 13
By Luke Norris
With a lopsided 38-10 win over the San Francisco 49ers, the largest margin of victory ever against their longtime rivals, the Green Bay Packers continue to own one of the NFL's best records as they improved to 8-3 on the year.
Sadly for Matt LaFleur & Co., they failed to gain any ground in the NFC North, remaining in third place with the Detroit Lions upping their conference-leading mark to 10-1 with a win over the Indianapolis Colts and the Minnesota Vikings improving to 9-2 with a victory over the Chicago Bears.
Nevertheless, heading into their Week 13 matchup with the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving night, the Packers are in a great spot as it pertains to the overall NFC playoff picture, maintaining their position as the No. 6 seed.
Now with a 90 percent chance to make the postseason for the second straight year, Green Bay holds a two-game advantage in the loss column on the seventh-seeded Washington Commanders, who dropped to 7-4 with a loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and a full two-game lead on the Arizona Cardinals, who are now on the outside looking in after dropping to 6-5 with a defeat to the Seattle Seahawks, who now lead the NFC West.
So, again, the Packers are in great shape with six weeks remaining in the regular season.
Naturally, with one of the league's best records, Green Bay wouldn't hold a high pick in the 2025 NFL Draft order if it were being held tomorrow. And that's obviously a good thing at this point in the season, as that means you've still got something to play for.
Updated 2025 NFL Draft order heading into Week 13
If the season concluded tomorrow, the Packers would hold the 27th overall pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, two spots lower than where they took Arizona offensive tackle Jordan Morgan seven months ago.
Green Bay would only own this No. 27 slot, of course, if the postseason goes a certain way, as picks 25-28 are reserved for those who lose in the Divisional Round, just as the Packers did last season to the same 49ers team they beat on Sunday.
But as we're just having some fun, this is how the 2025 NFL Draft order looks at the moment based on regular-season records heading into Week 13.
