Whew. Where did we begin? The Green Bay Packers couldn't have dreamed of a better start to the season, taking down two of the NFC's best teams in the space of five days. And they did so comfortably.

No, it wasn't a perfect performance. The Packers left points on the table and have areas to fix, but they made a statement in their 27-18 victory over the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football.

Choosing only seven winners is a challenge. We could almost name 53. Let's break down the biggest winners (and losers) from the Packers' emphatic victory.

Biggest winners and losers for Packers in dominant performance vs. Commanders in Week 2

Winner: Micah Parsons

We couldn't start anywhere else. Packers fans had high hopes for Micah Parsons, but somehow, he's exceeded them. Per Pro Football Focus, Parsons recorded eight pressures, one sack, and one hit. Every time No. 1 stepped on the field, something happened.

Jayden Daniels delivered one of the worst performances of his career. Not only did Parsons generate relentless pressure, but he also impacted the entire defense.

Winner: Keisean Nixon

Talk about making a statement. There have been questions all summer about whether Keisean Nixon can step into the CB1 role. He silenced any doubters on Thursday night, breaking up five passes in a dominant performance.

PFF handed him an elite 90.6 coverage grade after allowing just one catch for nine yards on six targets. Hopefully, this is just the beginning.

Winner: Carrington Valentine

Nixon wasn't the only member of the secondary to play a starring role. Carrington Valentine is quietly the team's best cornerback, and he delivered again on Thursday Night Football.

He offered next to nothing in coverage, allowing only a seven-yard reception on four targets. It took a stunning one-handed catch to beat him for a touchdown last week, and Valentine had another performance to remember.

Winner: Barryn Sorrell

We can spend all day talking about Micah Parsons and Rashan Gary, or even Lukas Van Ness, but how about debutant Barryn Sorrell? By PFF's count, the fourth-round rookie made a lightning start to his NFL career, recording two pressures to go with one sack on only eight pass-rush snaps. Talk about making a strong impression.

Sorrell starred in his only preseason game, and he picked up where he left off in Week 2. It's exciting to imagine the impact he'll make later in the year.

Winner: Tucker Kraft

Washington supposedly had a plan for Tucker Kraft. Apparently, that was to leave him wide open at any opportunity. Kraft is a star. You already know that. But he used the national spotlight to show the world, catching six passes for 124 yards and a touchdown.

Whether it's throwing defenders to the ground, using his yards-after-catch superpower, or just getting wide open and making it look easy, Kraft can do it all. A big season is coming.

Winner: Jordan Love

The defense stole the show, but Jordan Love is quietly off to a strong start. Sure, he had a few misses, like a wide-open Matthew Golden for a potential touchdown, but the third-year starter looked at ease all night. Love didn't force passes that weren't there and showed a willingness to throw the ball out of bounds.

When he did target his receivers, he made it count. Love added another 292 yards and two touchdowns to his tally for a 113.9 rating. Through two weeks, he has 480 passing yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions for a 120.0 rating. He hasn't thrown a regular-season pick since November 17.

Winner: Jeff Hafley

Parsons is on fire. Gary and Van Ness are delivering. Edgerrin Cooper is a star. The secondary is offering nothing to receivers. Defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley is the mad scientist behind it all. His aggressive scheme is getting the best out of his playmakers and leaving quarterbacks perplexed.

Enjoy him, because Hafley will soon become an NFL head coach.

Loser: Jayden Reed

Ugh. This one hurts. Matt LaFleur confirmed postgame that Jayden Reed suffered a broken collarbone and will miss significant time. The good news is that it's not season-ending, but Reed is reportedly likely to miss at least six to eight weeks. Hopefully, the time off will also allow him to recover from the foot injury he was playing through.

Loser: Brandon McManus

It's hard to be too critical of Brandon McManus, especially after he nailed a 56-yarder, but he also missed a 48-yard attempt and only just converted a 22-yard field goal. Still, it didn't hurt the Packers in the end.
