So to recap, I see a ton of potential for the future with this class of rookies, and for some of them I believe there will be an immediate return on investment for Ted Thompson and Co.
I think they have potentially found their safety of the future (Clinton-Dix), another couple of good potential contributors at WR in (Adams and Abbrederis; they can also work as extra insurance in case the unfortunate occurs and one of the Cobb-Nelson duo were to be let go in free agency next offseason; I’ll discuss that in another article); a rotational D-lineman (Thornton), the TE of the future (Rodgers), someone with pass-rush capabilities (Bradford), a center who actually played center full-time (Linsley), and a couple players with developmental potential (Goodson, Janis).
Yet another strong, successful draft by Thompson. I’m excited and can’t wait to see the players in action this fall.
