Run Defense

Maybe the Packers are getting tired of hearing how soft they are in the middle, the metaphorical Pillsbury Doughboy of the National Football League.

I know I’m tired of hearing it and I’m not even directly affected by it.

After being gashed for over 200 yards on the ground in the opener at Seattle, the Packers did a fantastic job of keeping Chris Ivory and Chris Johnson, in check. It isn’t an easy feat, but they made it look so.

Now, if we can only keep that same chip on our shoulder throughout the rest of the season, our much-maligned secondary can finally show the growth that they’ve accomplished through the offseason, when the run is no longer an option.
