Tight End

If you’ve got a Packers tight end, consider this a chance to find a fantasy replacement.

Also, consider finding a new hobby … these guys haven’t done enough to deserve a spot on a team beyond a one-week emergency situation even in the deepest of leagues.

Tim Wright has been a major boom-or-bust guy, but he has at least six fantasy points in three of the last four weeks and has only missed catching one of his targets (17-of-18). Those points are boosted by three TDs in those four weeks, so he could be a good option to grab six points off a TD for you.

Jace Amaro could be coming on as a pass-catching target, and with Michael Vick taking over for Geno Smith, he may see more consistent action. He’s been targeted at least five times in four of the past five weeks – including a 12-target week with 10 catches – so even though he is matched against Kansas City, he could still be a decent option this week and going forward.

There hasn’t been much to get excited about in Jacksonville, but Clay Harbor has been an OK option lately in their passing game. Since Week 4, he has seen 26 targets and caught 22 of them. His fantasy production hasn’t been great as of yet, but seeing as there aren’t many options beyond Allen Robinson and Denard Robinson and his decent workload, it should only be a matter of time before those targets and catches produce a decent fantasy output.

Any of these guys would be a decent pick-up this week. The best option would be Wright – since he’s the only one connected to a decent offense – but the others have the fortune of being potential top-two options in the passing games on their teams.

Potential Pick-ups: Wright, Amaro, Harbor

Predictions:

Wright – 5 catches, 50 yards, 1 TD; about 11 fantasy points

Amaro – 7 catches, 70 yards, TD; about 13 fantasy points

Harbor – 4 catches, 60 yards, 1 TD; about 12 fantasy points
