Green Bay Packers can R-E-L-A-X: Now it’s time to get Randall Cobb a ring
Reaping the rewards of loyalty

Loyalty and a commitment to winning isn’t commonplace in the NFL, so it speaks volumes about Randall Cobb’s attitude and hunger for a Super Bowl ring.
Let’s not forget that he was drafted by the Packers under three months after they won Super Bowl XLV; they were still very much in the honeymoon period.

Cobb and Jordy Nelson combined for 2,806 yards and 25 touchdowns last term. Next year, the help from their fellow pass-catchers should be even greater.
Davante Adams, who caught 38 passes for 446 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie year, will be expected to contribute even more in his second season.
Jared Abbrederis will finally get an opportunity to show us what he can do.
The Wisconsin-native missed the entire 2014 season with a torn ACL and will be champing at the bit to get started.
In 2013, Abbrederis caught 78 passes for 1,081 yards and seven touchdowns for UW-Madison.

And who knows, maybe the draft will bring along another weapon for Aaron Rodgers in the passing game.
Minnesota’s tight end Maxx Williams, anyone?
Cobb’s re-signing was the most important this offseason for the Packers. The prospect of traveling to Oakland in 2015 to face Cobb and fellow former Packers James Jones and Charles Woodson didn’t sound fun.
If right tackle Bryan Bulaga follows, the offense will be largely intact from the unit that ranked number-one in points scored per-game (30.4) in 2014.
Message to Packers: Go and win Cobb a championship.
Rodgers has his ring. As does Nelson.
In 2015, make sure Cobb has his, too.
Next: Will the Packers pay Bryan Bulaga?
