Four different CBS analysts come up with four different selections for the Packers in the first round, although a trend is developing among mockers: the Packers are looking at defense, and in particular, cornerbacks, linebackers and defensive linemen.

Here’s how the four CBS analysts mocked the Packers first round pick:
Rob Rang: LB Eric Kendricks, UCLA
Dane Brugler: DE Eddie Goldman, Florida State
Pete Prisco: CB Kevin Johnson, Wake Forest
Will Brinson: CB Marcus Peters, Clemson
We’ve seen Johnson and Peters already, Goldman and Kendricks are new names here.
Kendricks is a serious playmaker at linebacker for UCLA. At 6-0, 232 pounds, he plays lower to the ground than Mississippi State’s McKinney, and shows more range in the defensive backfield.
Goldman, meanwhile, is another massive body on the defensive line. Measuring in at 6-4, 336 pounds, the big man has plenty of quickness for his size, and would fit right in with Green Bay’s defensive line rotation.
