When the Green Bay Packers head to the Mile High City next fall, they will have their hands full, regardless if the game falls early, during the middle or at the end of the season.

You see, there’s a guy under center by the name of Peyton Manning who will be playing once again for Denver.

Though there are many who feel that Manning’s game has declined over the course of the past couple of seasons, he is still Peyton Mannin, a future Hall of Famer who can win any game at any time.

The Packers will have to be prepared and ready for an onslaught of balls being thrown around the yard, but if there’s a team that has the potential to shut Manning down – or at least slow his game – it’s the Packers.

Though Green Bay lost two cornerbacks (Davon House and Tramon Williams) to free agency, Packers fans are confident that Ted Thompson will find the players to fill that void … either through the draft or through signing undrafted players.

It is a concern at this point, however, and one that will need to be solved if the Packers are going to go on the road and win.

Not only will the Packers have their hands full in this game just because of Peyton Manning, they will have their hands full because of the way Manning plays, especially at home.

Over the past three years with the Broncos, Manning has helped them win 22 of their 24 home regular season games.

Needless to say, they will have a tough time winning.

But then again, everyone said the Packers didn’t have a shot of going into Seattle and beating the Seahawks in last season’s championship game.

Take away the final three minutes and some botched opportunities and we would have been watching the Packers in the Super Bowl.

Can they win at Denver. Sure, they can. But they have to go through Peyton Manning to do it.

Prediction: Broncos 34 Packers 32
