2. Cowboys at home

Possibly the worst news for the other 15 teams in the NFC is that the Dallas Cowboys own the fourth overall pick in this year’s draft. That’s what will happen when you lose your franchise quarterback and star wide receiver for almost the entirety of the 2015 season. With the leader of their offense healthy, the Cowboys have an excellent chance to return to their 2014, 12-4 form.

Dallas has an ever-improving defense and will have the chance to add one of the draft’s top players like defensive end Joey Bosa out of Ohio State. With an offseason to stock up on talent, the Cowboys could be a surprise Super Bowl contender.

The key for Dallas lies with the health of Tony Romo. Romo hasn’t completed a full season since 2012, and has battled back and collarbone injuries since. If he can avoid the injury bug in 2016, the Cowboys could once again own one of the league’s premier offenses behind the best offensive line in the NFL.

The Cowboys haven’t forgotten about the Dez Bryant catch that never was from the 2014 playoffs, and they’ll be determined to avenge the loss at Lambeau Field this coming season. Who knows, maybe this game will determine playoff seeding down the stretch.
