Round 3: Tavon Young, CB, Ravens

Best player available: Tavon Young, CB, Ravens
Best player at the same position: Kyler Fackrell, OLB, Packers

I want desperately to believe that the first and second round picks in 2015 weren’t a complete waste. I know the Packers won’t easily give up on them and Rollins actually had a really good first year.

Still, the Packers’ corners were really bad. As hard as I can try to spin it, there’s no way around it. They played beyond poorly and they really could have used some help. Young would have helped.

In 2016, Young played 833 snaps, and notched 53 tackles and two picks. Although not an elite player, Young is well rounded and able to player well in coverage as well as playing against the run.

It also goes without saying, Young would have been by far the best corner on the team and would have at least taken a little pressure off their need to address the position in the 2017 draft.
