The Packers need to take care of business at home, because winning on the road won’t come easy in 2017.

Road trips inside the division are always tough, but Green Bay must also visit Dallas, Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Carolina. These four teams have combined for five playoff appearances and two NFC Championships in the past two years.

The Packers’ home slate isn’t a whole lot easier: Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and Andy Dalton are coming to town. Winning with offense will again be the key ingredient to success.

It’s been three years since the Packers last ran the table at home, but I’m picking them to do it again. Losses at Dallas, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Carolina and Detroit don’t prevent Green Bay winning the NFC North, but an 11-5 record might not be enough for a first-round bye.

Despite the Packers’ tough schedule, they are talented enough to win 11 games. They will be playoff bound for the ninth year in a row, but can they take the next step in the postseason?

Prediction: 11-5
