100. Ryan Anderson, Edge, Alabama – 75.0

Some of my favorite players to watch are in this group. Desmond King is a tough, ballhawking defensive back who lacks ideal measurables but leaves it all on the field when he plays.

Kareem Hunt and Samaje Perine are runners who I really enjoy watching. They both run through contact, and they also play light on their feet and have excellent backfield vision. They lack the elite speed and athleticism of some of the other backs in the class, but they could immediately compete for  starting role in the NFL.

Anthony Walker and Alex Anzalone are active run defenders, and linebackers who like to flat out hit people. And speaking of tenacity, Alabama’s Ryan Anderson might not be an impressive athlete, but he’s gritty and finds a way to get after the quarterback. He reminds me a lot of Markus Golden, who was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round two years ago despite poor athlete testing and is now their leading pass rusher.

This is also the range I think a team will take a chance on Joe Mixon. The Oklahoma running back is an elite talent, but a battery charge in 2014 where he struck a woman in public has really damaged his reputation. The video was released to the public this spring, making it a significant PR challenge for any team that selects him.

However, it only takes one team to overlook this to draft him. The question is will it be in the first round or will he still be on the board when the last pick is announced on Saturday.
