Josh McPeak: Packers select T.J. Watt, Edge, Wisconsin

With the 29th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft the Green Bay Packers select T.J. Watt, edge rusher from the University of Wisconsin.

You can forget the Paul Kruger comparisons and the argument Watt still needs to get bigger. Bottom line, this guy is super strong and played great in his one year of being a healthy, full-time college athlete. Not to mention, he has an offseason workout partner in his brother J.J. Watt. J.J. might be the hardest working athlete on the planet.

A season with 11.5 sacks and 15.5 tackles for a loss in the Big Ten is very impressive. The Packers need someone who can rush the passer, while being a consistent wrap-up tackler. T.J. Watt gives them just that.
