1. Harold Landry, OLB, Boston College

While Landry’s pass rush production this season hasn’t matched his impressive 16.5-sack junior campaign, the 6-foot-3, 250-pound edge rusher has still put together a solid year.

As an undersized college defensive end, Landry leads the Eagles in sacks (5) and is second in tackles for loss with 8.5. He still flashes all of the speed and explosiveness off the edge he showed on film in 2016.

However, he’s best suited rushing from a two-point stance where he can utilize his quick first step and agility to win on the edge. Considering this, Landry’s best fit in the NFL is with a 3-4 team like the Packers.

The Boston College product should be available in the middle of the first round and would be a safe pick for the Packers on Day One of the draft.

He’s a productive edge rusher with good bend that plays with a high motor and finds ways to make plays.

The Packers need young playmakers at outside linebacker. It’s clear their inability to generate pressure this seasons has severely hindered their defense. Plus, Clay Matthews is nearing the end of his career and Nick Perry is highly inconsistent.
