The Green Bay Packers’ coaching changes aren’t finished yet.

Welcome to the Packers News Report.

The coaching shakeup continues in Green Bay.

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, the Packers are bringing back Scott McCurley, who was let go earlier this month.

Today’s report features plenty of draft discussion. We take a closer look at potential first-round target Derwin James and what he could bring to Green Bay. There’s also a look back the Packers’ 2014 class.

Let’s dive in.

Draft profile: Safety Derwin James [Lombardi Ave]

Lombardi Ave’s Joe D’Aloisio spoke to Rick Serritella of NFL Draft Bible to get some insight on safety Derwin James, a potential first-round target. How would he fit into Mike Pettine’s defensive plans?

Re-grading the 2014 draft class four years on [Lombardi Ave]

The 2014 draft class was somewhat of a mixed bag. Grades are often thrown around the moment players are drafted, but it’s impossible to truly grade a draft pick until three or four years later. That’s exactly what we’re doing, looking back at an interesting 2014 class.

Offseason position review: Running backs [Lombardi Ave]

Last offseason’s work is paying off at running back. Green Bay forced itself to get better, replacing Eddie Lacy, James Starks and Christine Michael with Jamaal Williams, Aaron Jones and Devante Mays. So far, so good.

Offseason position review: Wide receivers [Lombardi Ave]

There is some uncertainty at the wide receiver position, however. Pro Bowler Davante Adams is the clear No. 1, but will GM Brian Gutekunst be in the market for a new wideout this offseason? What’s next for Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb?
