1. Daurice Fountain, WR

The Wisconsin-born wide out stole the show with a handful of electrifying plays, including a 38-yard catch and run that saw him explode past Linden Stephens in press coverage. Fountain later treated fans to a glimpse of his elusiveness on a 14-yard hitch route where his quickness was too much to handle for Davontae Harris.

The small-school prospect also showed his special-teams wares on a punt return that totaled 30-plus yards. On the play, Fountain overwhelmed defenders with his acceleration down the left sideline before running out of real estate.

Watching Fountain operate can remind some of DeAndre Hopkins in that he’s a versatile playmaker who can line up outside or in the slot and dominate opponents by high-pointing the ball on jump-ball throws.

The 6-foot-1 pass catcher’s second gear makes him a lethal weapon on bubble screens where he can pick up easy yardage with a blocker out in front of him.

The Packers can certainly use some added juice at the receiver position and drafting Fountain to compete for a roster spot doesn’t seem like an awful idea from here.
