Jeff Janis

Jeff Janis might look to test free agency to find out if a team is willing to give him more opportunities on offense. In the end I think the Packers will bring him back on a one- or two-year deal. He offers plenty of special teams value.

Prediction: Re-signs with the Packers

Quinton Dial

Quinton Dial can give the Packers’ defensive line some much-needed depth. He won’t cost much to bring back, and I expect Gutekunst to get it done.

Prediction: Re-signs with the Packers

Ulrick John

Ulrick John provided some depth in 2017, but it’s hard to see him returning this offseason. With 12 selections in the upcoming draft, expect the Packers to add offensive line depth there.

Prediction: Walks

Demetri Goodson

Demetri Goodson hasn’t played a regular season game since 2016 due to a serious knee injury. My expectation is the Packers will look to restart at the cornerback position and build around Kevin King and Damarious Randall. I don’t think Goodson will return for 2018.

Prediction: Walks

Brett Goode

Injuries have been an issue for Brett Goode in recent years. An injury to Taybor Pepper opened the door for Goode to return in 2017, but the 33-year-old likely won’t be back for another year. If Pepper is healthy, he’ll likely be the team’s long snapper for 2018.

Prediction: Walks
