Packers: NFC North quarterback power rankings 2018
1. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
I’m not going to let Aaron Rodgers’ shortened season make me think he isn’t still the best quarterback in this division, or even the league. In order to be the King, you have to beat the King. Rodgers was playing at otherworldly levels when he got hurt. We may never know if he was completely healthy against Carolina, but we know he’ll be healthy in 2018.
There isn’t much to say about Rodgers that hasn’t already been said. He has pinpoint accuracy. Like, true pinpoint accuracy. He’s one of the games deadliest scramblers outside the pocket, he has a cannon for an arm, and he’s an assassin. Having the skill is one thing, being confident enough to take shots that most other quarterbacks don’t even recognize (and completing them) is what makes Rodgers stand alone at the top.
This season is an important one for the Packers and it depends mostly on Rodgers. If he’s still the same old quarterback, the Packers will be competing for a Super Bowl. The defense should be greatly improved, as well as the running game, which will make Rodgers’ life much easier. Coming back from a collarbone injury is tough, but there isn’t much reason to doubt Rodgers. He’s missed significant time with injuries in the past and bounced back from them at MVP levels.
The Packers have, relatively, very little pressure. The Vikings are the ones trying to take control of the North. The Lions are the ones trying to get there for the first time and justify Stafford’s contract. The fans have high expectations, but the rest of the NFL is all buzzing about the Vikings, Saints and Eagles in the NFC.

Rodgers should dominate in 2018 because he’s the best quarterback in the division. The top spot on this list isn’t even up for grabs. There isn’t anything the others could do to knock off Rodgers and take over the top spot.
