Quarterbacks: A-

As it is in most cases, Aaron Rodgers was the bright spot on this team offensively. He is clearly favoring that left knee and, if anything, it continues to get worse. Yet he shows up to play and does his best to will this team to victory. Unfortunately in the ultimate team sport, Rodgers needs some help.

Rodgers was able to complete 27 out of his 44 pass attempts for 265 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday. He also tallied 13 rushing yards on two scrambles out of the pocket. Rodgers finished with a rating of 93.5.

His two touchdowns came at crucial moments in the game. The first was a 64-yard bomb to Geronimo Allison that cut the lead for Washington to 21-10 just before half time. But the defense was unable to get a stop in the final minutes and the Redskins added another touchdown before half.

The second touchdown from Rodgers came at the beginning of the third quarter. He led Green Bay down the field on a meticulous drive that went 75 yards on 15 plays and took 7:02 off the clock. This drive came at an opportune time and cut Washington’s lead down to just 11. But that was as close as the Packers would get.

This game had the makings for another Aaron Rodgers comeback, but offensively Green Bay couldn’t get anything going.
