28. New York Jets (1-3)

After a dominant road win in Week 1, the New York Jets have been disappointing with three straight defeats. It was always going to be difficult for rookie quarterback Sam Darnold to move the ball against Jacksonville’s elite defense, and he completed just 50 percent of his passes for 167 yards and a touchdown. It will be an up-and-down season for the Jets, but the future is bright with Darnold.

27. New York Giants (1-3)

The New York Giants need to find a way of getting things going on offense. Saquon Barkley had just 10 carries, but put up 44 yards with a touchdown. Odell Beckham Jr. needs to get more involved. While he’s averaging 82.8 receiving yards per game, he is yet to find the end zone. The Giants offense has been disappointing so far.

26. Houston Texans (1-3)

Despite leading 28-10 in the third quarter, the Houston Texans needed two overtime field goals to get past the Colts. The Texans were able to move the ball on offense, which can give them confidence moving forward.

25. Indianapolis Colts (1-3)

The Indianapolis Colts will be criticized for their decision to go for it on fourth down late in the game. They could have settled for a tie. But I can’t be too critical of a team for being aggressive and trying to win the game. Had they converted on fourth and got into field goal range, we’d be talking about what a great decision it was.
