4. Jaire Alexander

Jaire Alexander will look continue his fine rookie season this Sunday against the Vikings and get a bit of redemption, as Alexander was part of the reason the Packers gave up the game-tying touchdown in Week 2.

If Kevin King can return from injury this week it’ll give the secondary an even bigger boost; Alexander and King match up well against Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs.

In the first meeting, Alexander and King kept Diggs and Thielen at bay. It wasn’t until King left with an injury that the Vikings’ passing game took off.

PREDICTIONS: Picks for Packers-Vikings, every NFL game in Week 12

King is currently listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, so for now the focus will have to be on Alexander dong all he can to take his receiver out of the game. And I expect his matchup to be against Thielen.

Thielen has been the go-to receiver for the Vikings and has put up monster numbers (85 receptions for 1,013 yards and seven touchdowns). His production has slowed down a bit from his early season tear, but he is still their go-to guy.

If Alexander can take out Thielen, it will allow Mike Pettine to allocate two players to shut down Diggs.
