GREEN BAY, WI – SEPTEMBER 10: Aaron Rodgers /

1. Aaron Rodgers must play at MVP-best

Aaron Rodgers is the key for the Green Bay Packers to return to the Super Bowl. He’s been the league-MVP twice, and in both seasons the Packers earned a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Rodgers has dealt with a number of injuries the past two seasons, but if he can stay fully healthy in 2019, Green Bay will have a chance in the NFC.

It’s an important offseason for this team. With Matt LaFleur taking over as head coach, Rodgers and the offense will need to quickly get familiar with the new scheme. Rodgers will also need to continue to build trust with second-year wide receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown, and any new pass catchers who are brought in this offseason.

If the Packers add a difference maker at tight end, strengthen the defense, become more balanced on offense, improve on third down and protect Rodgers, the two-time MVP will have every chance to win the award for a third time and lead his team to the Super Bowl once again.
