Week 1: at Chicago Bears

Matt LaFleur couldn’t have asked for a tougher start to his career as head coach. The new-look Packers will throw everything they have at the defending NFC North champions, but at Soldier Field against last season’s No. 1 scoring defense, the Packers lose a key divisional game in the season opener. Chicago 23, Green Bay 20 (0-1)

Week 2: vs. Minnesota Vikings

Some will say the Packers were lucky to tie last year’s meeting with the Vikings at Lambeau Field but had it not been for a questionable roughing the passer call, the Packers would’ve had the game in the bag way before Daniel Carlson‘s missed field goal. This season, Green Bay gets the job done at home. Green Bay 28, Minnesota 21 (1-1)

Week 3: vs. Denver Broncos

For the Packers to keep pace in the NFC they will need to take care of their home games, especially when they will be strong favorites. That will be the case when the Broncos make the trip to Lambeau Field. Aaron Rodgers plays like Aaron Rodgers and the Packers win comfortably. Green Bay 32, Denver 21 (2-1)

Week 4: vs. Philadelphia Eagles (Thursday Night Football)

Home or away, the Eagles present a challenge. Is their roster as talented as two years ago? Maybe not, but let’s not forget Carson Wentz was an MVP candidate in 2017 and hasn’t been able to stay healthy since. If he’s at 100 percent, the Eagles could be contenders again this season. The Packers haven’t gone undefeated at Lambeau since 2014, and this is the one game I predict they’ll lose at home. Philadelphia 27, Green Bay 24 (2-2)
