Packers 53-man roster predictions ahead of training camp 2019

Running backs (3)
Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Dexter Williams
The only real question for the Packers here is whether to keep a fourth running back, or potentially a fullback. Danny Vitale could absolutely play an important role in Matt LaFleur’s offense, and there’s every possibility the Packers do decide to keep a fullback.
But unless there’s a standout performer at training camp, I expect the Packers to go with three running backs on the roster. And between Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams and Dexter Williams, they have three different running backs who can all make a difference this year.
As Michael Cohen of The Athletic pointed out this week, we could expect to see more catches for the Packers’ running backs this season.
An early trend for the Matt LaFleur offense is how involved RBs seem to be in the passing game. #Packers using tailbacks all over the formation and dedicating drills to fundamentals of receiving. Could be a way to get more touches for Aaron Jones.

That should also help Jamaal Williams get more snaps. He leads Packers running backs in receiving with 472 yards and two touchdowns since the start of the 2017 season.
We’re yet to see how LaFleur plans to use his running backs. Will his offense feature a running back by committee, or will one of the three RBs take on a featured role? Jones would be best suited to lead the way in carries as he can be a game-winner any time he’s on the field.
Jones, Williams and Williams should all make the 53-man roster. But will the Packers also keep fullback Vitale on the roster?
