NFC East

1. Cowboys (10-6)

2. Eagles (9-7)

3. Redskins (7-9)

4. Giants (1-15)

The Dallas Cowboys are a team to watch this season. In 2018, their defense finished seventh overall and sixth in points allowed per game. But they also have a talented offense to make them a very tough team to beat.

Trading for Amari Cooper turned out to be a great move last year. And the Cowboys have since added former Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb. It’s also great news that three-time All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowl center Travis Frederick is back this year.

The main competition will again come from the Philadelphia Eagles, who’ve added running back Jordan Howard and wide receiver DeSean Jackson this offseason. If Philadelphia can match last season’s No. 12 ranking in scoring defense, it will win a lot of games.

Whether Case Keenum or Dwayne Haskins is at quarterback for Washington, I have the team matching last season’s 7-9 record.

As for the New York Giants, well, their season will go about as well as it can do when you have questions at quarterback and also traded away an All-Pro wide receiver who is just 26 years old.

It’s the Dallas Cowboys that finishes in first place, the only NFC East team to reach the playoffs this season.
