Packers 53-man roster: Breakdown of every position
Offensive line (9)
Bryan Bulaga, David Bakhtiari, Lane Taylor, Billy Turner, Corey Linsley, Elgton Jenkins, Lucas Patrick, Alex Light, Cole Madison
The Packers have lots of versatility along the offensive line. Billy Turner, Elgton Jenkins and Alex Light can all play at multiple positions. The starting five will likely be left tackle David Bakhtiari, left guard Lane Taylor, center Corey Linsley, right guard Turner, and right tackle Bryan Bulaga. Jenkins will likely be the main backup at guard.
The only real surprise along the offensive line was that Justin McCray was traded to the Cleveland Browns.
But Green Bay has got stronger along the offensive line in the offseason and looks to have good depth entering 2019.
Defensive line (6)
Kenny Clark, Dean Lowry, Montravius Adams, Tyler Lancaster, Kingsley Keke, Fadol Brown
The Packers also have good depth along the defensive line. Kenny Clark, Dean Lowry and Montravius Adams give Green Bay a talented, young starting trio. Kingsley Keke has impressed in the preseason and can contribute right away in Mike Pettine’s defense.
With Tyler Lancaster and Fadol Brown also making the initial 53, the Packers have good depth at defensive tackle. And that’s before we mention Za’Darius Smith and Rashan Gary, who could potentially both line up along the defensive line at times this season.
Even after releasing Mike Daniels before training camp, the Packers have a lot of talent along the defensive line.
