Week 13: at New York Giants

The Packers stay on the road in Week 13, but they’ll have the perfect opportunity to bounce back with games against two teams near the bottom of the NFC. The first challenge comes at MetLife Stadium against the New York Giants.

Green Bay’s offense should have no trouble moving the ball in this game. After nine weeks, New York is allowing 391.4 yards of total offense per game, fifth-most in the NFL. The Giants have struggled against both the run and the pass. They also have a minus-10 turnover differential so far this season, giving the ball away a league-high 22 times. That’s good news for a Packers defense that is excellent at forcing turnovers.

After a tough loss in San Francisco, this will be an ideal bounce-back game for Green Bay. While Mike Pettine and the defense will need to have answer for the Giants’ Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley, the Packers should be able to win this game with their play on offense.

A fast start by the offense could put the game away early as the Giants would need to throw more often, potentially leading to turnovers.

I have the Packers winning this game comfortably and taking another step towards the playoffs.

Prediction: Packers 32, Giants 17 (9-3)
