2. Jamaal Williams

The other half of the Packers’ dynamic duo at running back also had himself a fine game. Jamaal Williams had 63 yards on 13 carries and was a wrecking ball in the second half of the game.

Williams’ running style is the perfect complement to Jones’ and helps the offense not miss a beat when Jones exists the game for rest. The continued use in this manner will keep both players fresh and ready as the weather turns cold.

Williams is a power-type running back who could start to get more touches as the weather gets worse. It’s Green Bay and there are bound to be a couple more games like Sunday with snow and precipitation. Being able to dominate on the ground when the weather turns will be a huge boost for the Packers, especially if they can secure at least one home game in the playoffs.

Jones and Williams are the most talented duo at running back the Packers have had in some time. Both can run, each has to be accounted for in the passing game, and either one is capable of carrying the load for the Packers.

Williams also brings the energy for the Packers as he can always been seen with a smile and brings the crowd to their feet when he runs through or stiff-arms a defender to the ground.
