3. Davante Adams

In his first game back against the Chargers, Davante Adams was the most targeted receiver on offense and the team lost. Adams didn’t appear to be 100 percent in that game but still toughed it out to get back on the field. After the Chargers game, both Aaron Rodgers and Coach LaFleur recognized they must show better balance and can’t just force-feed Adams.

The team then went out and made good on that promise. Jones and Williams did most of the heavy lifting on the way to the Packers’ eighth win. The Packers made sure to keep Adams involved, but not the focus.

In his second game back from injury, Adams looked more like his old self and made the most of his opportunities, catching seven passes for 118 yards and hauling in two long passes of 38 and 37 yards.

Adams looked much more explosive in and out of his breaks and when he couldn’t get separation, Rodgers made perfect throws to unbelievable spots for his receiver.

Adams now gets another week to make any needed adjustments and get treatment for his injured toe. Judging by how he looked Sunday, he may not need them. But even though the offense was fine in his absence, a healthy Adams makes the team that much better.
