QB: Aaron Rodgers

No, the decision wasn’t Matt Flynn despite the fact he set the franchise record for touchdown passes in a game back in 2011. Joking aside, Aaron Rodgers would’ve been the choice by default anyway as he’s been the starting quarterback all decade. But even if you included every other QB in the NFL during the past 10 years, Rodgers would get in ahead of the vast majority of them.

Rodgers has won two league MVP awards and was the Super Bowl MVP all inside the past decade. It was over the past 10 years he established himself as a future Hall-of-Famer and one of the best QBs to ever play the game. Rodgers made the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade Team and he’s an easy choice to kick off this All-Packers team.

RB: Aaron Jones

The first tough decision came at running back. This was a choice between Aaron Jones and Eddie Lacy.

Lacy dominated in his first two years, finishing with consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with a total of 24 touchdowns. But the reason he misses out is because his production declined dramatically from the start of 2015. The Packers didn’t give him a new deal and he lasted one season with the Seattle Seahawks and has been out the league since.

Jones’ unimpressive rushing stats in his first two seasons was by no fault of his own. He just needed more carries. He looked good every time he touched the ball. And that was proved to be true in 2019. Matt LaFleur made him the featured back and he stepped up with 1,084 rushing yards, 474 receiving yards and 19 total touchdowns before finding the end zone four more times in the playoffs.

Jones’ ability to impact all three downs, especially as a receiver, gives him the edge. He also averages an impressive five yards per carry in his career.
