Defense

Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia

Hall is another big corner (6-feet-1) who can press the receiver and win. Hall has great arm length and won’t be outjumped when the ball is in the air.

Hall might be better suited for zone coverage but that doesn’t mean he won’t be able to hold up in man. The Packers need cornerback depth and Hall could be a steal in the fifth round.

Leki Fotu, DT, Utah

If the Packers would like to shore up their run defense, Fotu is a mountain of a man (6-feet-5, 330 pounds) to plug into the Packers defensive line.

Fotu has good athletic ability for a guy his size and comes from a background in rugby. He is more of a run-stuffer at this point, but that’s exactly what the Packers need. If the Packers would like to improve their run defense, plugging a 330-pound monster is a great way to start.

Carter Coughlin, EDGE, Minnesota

Coughlin has speed to burn coming off the edge. He clocked in with a 4.57 40-yard dash and has 9.5 sacks for a good Minnesota team.

He will need to add some weight and strength but could be a good replacement for Kyler Fackrell.

Coughlin has the type of high motor you like in a player and can also contribute on special teams which is what you’re looking for from day three picks.

Troy Dye, LB, Oregon

Dye is a sideline-to-sideline player who could pair well with Christian Kirksey. He’s got good speed and is known as a good locker room leader. There is some concern about his size but an offseason in the weight room could help Dye build his frame.
