Week 10: Jacksonville Jaguars

The rebuild is underway in Jacksonville. Can the Jaguars take the next step with Gardner Minshew under center? It’s going to be a big ask. The Packers are the better team and they are at home. This is a game they should win, and they get the job done. Green Bay 28, Jacksonville 14 (6-3)

Week 11: at Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts could be one of the most improved teams in the NFL after signing Philip Rivers and drafting Michael Pittman Jr. and Jonathan Taylor. Rivers will give the defense opportunities, though. He threw 20 interceptions last season and has double-digit picks in each of the past 10 seasons. In a close game, Jaire Alexander makes the difference with a pick-six. Green Bay 27, Indianapolis 23 (7-3)

Week 12: Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears look to have made the transition from Mitch Trubisky to Nick Foles at quarterback. While Foles will be an upgrade over the former first-round pick, the Bears offense will still be inconsistent. With the game at Lambeau Field, the Packers get a crucial victory inside the division. Green Bay 27, Chicago 17 (8-3)

Week 13: Philadelphia Eagles

The Packers made a hot start against the Philadelphia Eagles a year ago but the defense couldn’t get off the field. The Eagles ended up winning a shootout in a game the Packers lost Davante Adams. Philadelphia has added a lot of speed on offense, most notably with first-round pick Jalen Reagor. Unfortunately, I see a similar result happening this time. Philadelphia 30, Green Bay 27 (8-4)
