2. Breakout game for Robert Tonyan

Robert Tonyan is no Darren Waller, but the Saints had no answer for the Raiders tight end on Monday night. Waller caught 12 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown. Derek Carr kept looking his way and the Saints couldn’t stop him.

Winning on the outside up against New Orleans’ talented cornerbacks won’t be easy for Green Bay, so the answer might be to target the middle of the field.

Tonyan looks to be ahead of second-year Jace Sternberger in this offense as Sternberger has struggled so far and had a couple of drops last week. Tonyan has hardly been dominant but he has made a couple of impressive plays in the opening two games. Big Bob Tonyan has caught two passes for 25 yards and a touchdown this season.

With Davante Adams potentially out of this game, the Packers could be thin at wide receiver. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Allen Lazard would see the majority of the targets, but this might also be a game to get the tight ends more involved in the passing game.

Tonyan has shown on many occasions he is a talented pass catcher. This could be the game he puts it all together and becomes a consistent target for Aaron Rodgers.
