The narrative is still that the Packers don’t surround Aaron Rodgers with enough talent. But we’ve already discussed one of the league’s strongest running back rooms, and the Packers also have a lot of talent at wide receiver.

Davante Adams, a first-team All-Pro in 2020, is arguably the best wide receiver in football. Dominant off the line and an excellent route-runner, Adams regularly wins one-on-ones even against the very best of defensive backs.

Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling have both made key plays for this offense in recent years.

MVS took a big step last season. He does need to make fewer drops, but there’s no doubt he adds a lot to this offense. With his speed and home-run ability, defenses always need to be concerned about the Packers going deep to Valdes-Scantling. According to Pro Football Focus, his five receiving touchdowns of 40-plus yards last season tied the league lead with Tyreek Hill.

Devin Funchess also returns after opting out last year and it will be interesting to see how LaFleur gets him involved. At his best, Funchess was a No. 2 receiver for the Carolina Panthers but hasn’t played a lot of football over the past two years.

The addition of third-round pick Amari Rodgers is exciting. Great after the catch and able to line up all over the field, expect LaFleur to get him opportunities right away.
