Wide receivers (6)

Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, Amari Rodgers, Malik Taylor

Outside of the top five at wide receiver, this is tough to predict.

We know the five roster locks. Davante Adams is coming off an All-Pro and record-setting season. Marquez Valdes-Scantling has improved every year and enters 2021 potentially as the Packers’ WR2. Randall Cobb returns this season and his roster spot is safe. Allen Lazard has been a key part of this offense under Matt LaFleur. Amari Rodgers is a third-round pick and has looked good over the summer.

Considering how well many of the wide receivers on the roster bubble have played this summer, the Packers should keep a sixth pass catcher. It could be any one of Juwann Winfree, Devin Funchess, Malik Taylor, or Equanimeous St. Brown, but I’m going with Taylor.

Taylor was on the active roster last season and played a lot of special-teams snaps. That’s important to note, not to mention Taylor has impressed in both preseason games.

Tight ends (4)

Robert Tonyan, Marcedes Lewis, Josiah Deguara, Dominique Dafney

No surprises with the top three; Robert Tonyan, Marcedes Lewis, and Josiah Deguara are all roster locks. Training camp will determine who is the TE4 with Jace Sternberger suspended, and I’m going with Dominique Dafney.

Despite Aaron Rodgers praising Bronson Kaufusi recently, Dafney played well when the Packers needed him late last season so he is my pick.

The big question moving forward is whether the Packers decide to keep Sternberger once his suspension is over.
