1. Impressive debut for Romeo Doubs

Romeo Doubs continues to impress. A star of training camp, Doubs didn’t take long to make an impact on the game. He hauled in a 33-yard touchdown in the first half, a beautiful play. A great route from Doubs and a perfect pass from Jordan Love.

There were some mistakes. Doubs had a drop on what should’ve been a routine catch, and another pass he couldn’t bring in became a turnover, although it was unlucky.

But overall, there were a lot of positives to take away from the night. Doubs showed off his catch radius and ability to win 50/50 balls. He made a particularly impressive catch in the middle of the field.

Of course, like with any rookie, there are areas for improvement. But how can the Packers not be excited with Doubs? How quickly he has adjusted to the NFL.

Doubs was targeted seven times in the game, catching three passes for 45 yards and a touchdown. Another important step in his development.

The Packers have to be delighted with his start to the summer, and now his first preseason performance. It’s exciting to think about how good a player he can eventually become for the Packers.
