6 biggest takeaways from Packers’ win over Bucs in Week 3
Kenny Clark is playing the best football of his career
Wow. What a performance from Kenny Clark.
The Packers shut down the Buccaneers’ offense repeatedly on Sunday, and Clark was regularly the main reason why.
The two-time Pro Bowler finished the game with four tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss, and two quarterback hits. No matter what the Buccaneers did to try to slow him down, nothing worked. A truly impressive performance.
Clark is one of the league’s top interior defensive linemen and he is playing the best football of his career.
He now has two sacks, five quarterback hits, and three tackles for loss in the opening three games of the regular season.
Clark is such a powerful player. The Buccaneers’ interior offensive linemen had no answer for him all afternoon long. Any time Clark was one-on-one, it was as good as over.
Without Clark, the Packers don’t hold the Bucs to 12 points. He put in a dominant performance both against the run and pass.
Through three games, Clark has been playing at an Aaron Donald level. He’s been that good.
If he can keep this up, Clark is going to have his best season in an already incredible career. And the Packers will also win a lot of games.
