4. Offensive line

It has been an up-and-down season for the Packers’ offensive line. Injuries have played a part.

David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins have been in and out of the lineup all year, and Jenkins is yet to get back to his Pro Bowl best. He should improve next season, which will be year two coming off a significant injury.

The Packers have some young talent along the line. Center Josh Myers has been solid this season, while rookie Zach Tom deserves credit. Tackle Yosh Nijman has had an excellent year.

But who knows how many games Bakhtiari will play in 2023? Jenkins is also a free agent, although I’m sure the Packers will bring him back.

Whether it’s Aaron Rodgers or Jordan Love at quarterback next season, the Packers need to ensure their offensive line play is more consistent.

Adding more talent in the offseason is a must. Their depth has been tested throughout the season. Losing veterans like Lucas Patrick, Billy Turner, and Dennis Kelly last offseason didn’t help much.

Whether it’s by adding a free agent or two, an early draft pick, or a combination, strengthening the offensive line needs to be a priority for the Packers in the spring.
