Las Vegas Raiders

With Derek Carr seemingly on his way out, the Las Vegas Raiders will likely be in the market for a quarterback this offseason.

By making a trade for Aaron Rodgers, they could reunite one of the most unstoppable quarterback-wide receiver combinations in recent memory.

The Rodgers-to-Davante Adams connection was as good as it gets. The two combined for 2,885 yards and 29 touchdowns in Adams’ final two years with the Packers.

Adams is still on top of his game, catching 100 passes for 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns in his first season with the Raiders.

It would take no time at all for Rodgers to reestablish his great connection with Adams, and he would also get to join an offense featuring Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow, and 2022 rushing champion Josh Jacobs, who put up 1,653 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground this season.

The Raiders’ defense needs some work, no doubt, but they have talent to build around, including Pro Bowl pass rusher Maxx Crosby.

According to Over The Cap, the Raiders currently have $34.63 million in cap space. That number would jump up to over $69 million by releasing Derek Carr. Some of that will need to go on re-signing Jacobs.

They also have 11 draft picks to work with.

By adding Rodgers, the Raiders could jump back into contention in the AFC West.
