The way Micah Parsons has played so far for the Green Bay Packers should already have Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones regretting trading away his superstar pass rusher. The latest bombshell on the NFL trade deadline rumor mill might just confirm that.
According to Trey Wingo, who has covered the NFL for a very long time at this point, the Cowboys have apparently already reached out to the struggling Las Vegas Raiders regarding their star pass rusher, Maxx Crosby.
Even sniffing around Crosby would be proof that Jerry Jones feels like he made a regrettable mistake moving on from Parsons.
Cowboys looking into Maxx Crosby trade proves Packers stole Micah Parsons

Parsons just had a season-high three sacks in the Packers' win over the Arizona Cardinals, putting him up to 5.5 sacks and 13 QB hits in total on the season. With two weeks until the 2025 NFL trade deadline on November 4, perhaps Jones feels like he can atone for his roster malpractice.
The Packers gave up Kenny Clark and multiple first-round picks to get Parsons from the Cowboys, but the deal felt like a bit of a discounted price for Green Bay. Players like Parsons are rare in today's NFL, and teams have gotten more compensation for star defensive players in the past, like the Chicago Bears giving up a king's ransom for Khalil Mack back in 2018.
The NFL's trade deadline is typically a very anticlimactic event. There are always major rumors like this, but rarely does anything actual happen. It feels more like content fodder than anything else.
But until the deadline passes, you can't rule out even the most ridiculous of ideas. The Raiders moving on from Maxx Crosby would be a hilariously bad mistake on their part, but maybe that's where they feel they are at as an organization.
And to his credit, Jerry Jones does now have the extra draft capital to make this type of deal.
If you're Jones and the Cowboys, maybe swallowing this giant pill and showing some humility by making this type of blockbuster trade is exactly what's needed. Jones already doesn't have a great relationship with that fan base in Dallas, but making a trade for Crosby would go a long way toward mending some fences.
As much as it would be an admission of the mistake of trading Parsons, it would be a necessary step toward putting some feet to the idea that Jones actually believes the Cowboys are in a Super Bowl window with Dak Prescott.
With the way Parsons has played already for the Packers, you can't blame Jerry Jones for wishing he had his top pass rusher back. Maybe the Raiders will give him a bit of a mulligan.
