Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs returned this week and opened up to the media about his suspension.

While Doubs didn't want to share too many details about what happened, he said he "had some things going on mentally" but is "thankful" he is back with the team this week. The Packers host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, and head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed Doubs will play.

Doubs has served his suspension and addressed the media. The Packers have drawn a line under the situation, and it's time for everyone to move past it.

Following his first media session since the suspension, Doubs received plenty of public support from his teammates, including fellow wide receiver Christian Watson.

Watson posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Nothing but love and open arms for our guy."

Christian Watson shows support for Romeo Doubs after suspension

It's great to see this from Watson, who entered the league in the same Packers draft class as Doubs. Watson has become a great leader in the locker room, and this message provides further proof.

The sign of a great leader is a willingness to hold your teammates accountable. Watson is fully behind Doubs but gave an honest answer about his suspension.

"I know there's some things he's not going to want to hear in the moment. But I'm going to say it anyways because we're a family," said Watson, via Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

"Two days isn't gonna ruin the three years of work and commitment he's put in for us," said Watson, via The Athletic's Matt Schneidman. "There will probably be a few bumps in the road trying to get that togetherness and that family feeling back, but at the end of the day, he's back in the building and I know that his goal is also to win a football game this week."

Watson provided an honest answer, but there's no doubting the support he has for his teammate.

The way the locker room has rallied around Doubs speaks to the great togetherness and friendship they have built. Many teammates have shared their love for Doubs, including Jaire Alexander and Jordan Love. The Packers did what they felt was necessary by suspending Doubs for one game, but that's now in the past and they have moved on.

Hopefully, Doubs can hit the ground running, get in the end zone, and celebrate with Packers fans with a Lambeau Leap in Week 6.
