It's hard to blame Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur for playing the starters last week, as he wanted to improve their playoff seeding and build momentum for the playoffs. However, the Packers paid the price.
Jordan Love, Christian Watson, and Malik Willis suffered injuries. Watson is done for the rest of the season, but fortunately, Love and Willis are OK.
Willis has played well when he has needed to this season, but for the Packers to have any realistic shot at making a deep playoff run, they need Love healthy and at his best. The Philadelphia Eagles will do everything they can to take away Josh Jacobs on Sunday, so the Packers may need to win through the air.
Fortunately, the signs are good for both quarterbacks this week.
Jordan Love will play in Packers' NFC Wild Card game vs. Eagles
LaFleur sounded confident in Love's status earlier this week, and it was later confirmed on the injury report. Love will play against the Eagles.
He practiced all week, including two full sessions on Thursday and Friday. It proves he has no issues or limitations in his elbow or throwing hand and is available to play in the postseason.
Love has battled multiple injuries this year, beginning in the season opener against the Eagles. He missed two games with an MCL sprain and then played through a groin issue in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions. Now, it's the right elbow issue bothering him, but fortunately, it's not a significant injury.

Should Love need to come out of the game, they have Willis available. He took a hit to his throwing hand last week but stayed in the game. Fortunately, he also logged two full practices this week and is no longer on the injury report.
The Packers ran a play against the Bears with both quarterbacks on the field. Was this a tease of a new addition to the playbook ahead of the postseason, or simply something to throw off their opponents? We'll see. It sure would be fun for LaFleur to get creative and find a way to incorporate Willis into the game plan, especially with his rushing ability.
Losing Watson for the season hurts the Packers' Super Bowl hopes, but they luckily won't miss Love or Willis on Sunday. Both quarterbacks are healthy and ready to go.
