The ongoing saga between Green Bay Packers star pass-rusher Micah Parsons and his old team, the Dallas Cowboys, has taken another extremely fun and dramatic turn. Of course, the drama between Parsons and the Cowboys (Jerry Jones) resulted in him being traded before the start of the 2025 season, but there are new chapters being written in this story, even with Parsons recovering from a major knee injury.
Parsons posted on his Twitter/X page a bunch of crying laughing emojis in response to a quote from Cowboys defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, where he admitted that "things changed" for the Dallas defense when they lost a pass-rusher who can "win quick." It sounded almost like an admission that the trade was a mistake for the Cowboys.
As you would expect, Cowboys fans didn't like that response, and they let Parsons know it. So Parsons decided to clap back.
Micah Parsons hilariously unleashes on Jerry Jones on social media
Y’all want me to feel bad? Jerry Jones slandered my name to Cowboys media and national media for months. So I do think I can react to comment if I want to! #respectfully

Parsons is not wrong here. Jerry Jones took every possible opportunity he could to make it seem like Parsons was the unreasonable one when it came to contract negotiations that went sour, and that he was the one at fault for the trade, as opposed to Jones making a hasty decision.
Jones even applauded his own trade, comparing it to the infamous Herschel Walker deal from way back when, and talking about how much more of an impact he was going to get from the high draft selections as well as veteran defensive lineman (and old friend) Kenny Clark.
It's been a bit over the top on Jones's part, and he's made it clear he was happy with the way things turned out. Unfortunately, the Dallas defense is the primary reason why they didn't make the postseason despite having one of the best and most well-rounded offenses in the entire league. It's a shame (for them) that they wasted a year of Dak Prescott's prime.
The fact that the Packers reunited Parsons with his old pal Trevon Diggs when the Cowboys put him on waivers adds even more drama. Of course, the Cowboys had to know there was a chance of that happening when they decided to cut Diggs, but Diggs joining Green Bay has to be a little more salt in the wound for Jerry Jones.
Parsons even took to his Twitter/X page to say that Diggs is in a "better situation" now that he's with the Packers, and that he's going to be "great again."
There is no shortage of bulletin board material for both sides, but Parsons has been unloading the clip since Diggs was claimed by Green Bay. He's not holding back and the Cowboys are dealing with the repercussions of Jerry Jones speaking his mind every time he addresses the media.
